The Contrast Club was born from a desire to bring heated movement classes and a social wellness community to a beachside location in Portugal.

Five Signature Class Types
We’re doing things differently. We worked with industry experts to develop five concept classes, curated to help you feel better mentally and physically, spanning modalities from strength training to yoga and mobility work. Expect the best.


Ceramic Infrared Heated Classes + Contrast Therapy
We offer heated and non-heated classes, heated with ceramic infrared heaters to warm your body from the inside — activating your cardiovascular system for a deeply intense workout.

Additionally, we will soon have one of the biggest social saunas in Portugal. Our downstairs recovery area (The Contrast Cave) will feature a 25-person sauna and state-of-the-art cold plunges from 0 to 4 °C. Built for post-class resets, pre-work rituals, or social recovery with friends.


Coffee + Co-Work Space
Enjoy specialty coffee, functional beverages, and health-optimized smoothies created by a registered nutritionist, in addition to açaí bowls, healthy snacks, and a laid-back cowork-friendly space just steps from Carcavelos beach.


A Wellness Community + Event Space
This isn’t an ordinary wellness studio. We offer a run club, jazz nights, surf meet-ups, astrology nights, women + men circles, and so much more.

SCULPT

heated + non-heated

Our signature class. Expect to get sweaty. This 45-minute workout breaks down into 15-minute segments: a yoga flow, strength training and higher-intensity bursts, and mobility and mindfulness. Build strength, burn fat, get sculpted.

TONE

High-intensity, low-impact training. In this class, you’ll be using weights in a Pilates-inspired, strength training workout. You’ll be moving through a series of sequences that target every muscle in your body. Build lean muscle and look more toned than ever before.

This fast-paced vinyasa-style yoga class will focus on building strength, endurance, and flexibility. You’ll move fluidly through a yoga flow in a dimly lit room to help you tap into your internal fire.

Melt into your mat with our restorative yoga class offered in the evenings to help induce sleep, stretch tired muscles, and help you feel more grounded. Surrounded by candles, this class will involve sound healing, intention-setting, and a feeling of deep relaxation.
